Parent-Child Interaction (PCI) Observation
The focus of CQI for 2022 and 2023 is on the use of parent-child interaction observations to support positive caregiver-child interactions. Approved tools for Kansas MIECHV include the PICCOLO, KIPS, and CHEERS Check-In.
Because many programs will be adopting PICCOLO this year, we have compiled a number of resources related to PICCOLO administration and its use in home visiting. We will continue to add to these resources throughout the year.
