In past years, Kansas MIECHV CQI plans have focused on a variety of topics (e.g., improving the timeliness of developmental screenings, improving completion of the annual parent-child interaction observation, development and testing of onboarding and training roadmaps to improve home visitors sense of competency with MIECHV-related tasks). Parent-Child Interaction (PCI) Observation
The focus of CQI for 2022 and 2023 was on the use of parent-child interaction observations to support positive caregiver-child interactions. Approved tools for Kansas MIECHV included the PICCOLO, KIPS, and CHEERS Check-In.
